Mario Branciforti has more than 20 years of experience in operational leadership and venture capital, in Italy and internationally, across high-technology sectors, with a strong focus on value creation and exits.
He served as Managing Director at Samsung NEXT, Samsung’s corporate venture capital fund focused on technology scale-ups, and was part of the investment team at Imperial Innovations, a London-listed deep-tech investment fund acquired by IP Group.
Previously, he was Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at NXP Semiconductors, from LBO through IPO on NASDAQ; a member of the management team at Symantec.cloud; and held product roles at Motorola and Ubinetics, a startup acquired by Cambridge Silicon Radio and later Qualcomm.
He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Pisa, an MBA from SDA Bocconi, and has completed executive education in Corporate Finance at London Business School.
