Marco Barbato is a member of founding team and Director of AI Integrated Systems at Axelera AI.
With over 15 years of experience in the computer hardware and industrial PC market, he has led high-impact projects across industrial IoT, computer vision, and embedded systems.
Before joining Axelera AI, Marco headed the European Technical Support team at Advantech Embedded and later led the AI & IOT Product Management team at AAEON, driving innovation in industrial computing and AI edge solutions.
At Axelera AI, he oversees the design and development of the company’s AI accelerator boards, ensuring seamless integration of advanced hardware and software while aligning product innovation with market needs and customer applications. Passionate about bridging technology and impact, Marco strives to deliver high-performance, accessible edge AI solutions that empower enterprises and accelerate adoption worldwide.
