Inder Singh Joins Axelera AI Board of Directors

Former CFO of Arm Brings Over 30 Years of Expertise in Corporate Strategy and Finance to Axelera AI

San Francisco, CA – October 18, 2023Axelera AI, provider of world’s most powerful and advanced solutions for AI at the Edge, today announced Inder Singh, former Chief Financial Officer of Arm, has been appointed as the newest member of the Axelera AI Board of Directors effective immediately. With Singh’s appointment, the Axelera AI Board of Directors builds upon its already impressive group of members with previous experience within organizations such as Intel, Cisco, Bitfury, Innovation Industries, CDP Venture Capital and others. Singh’s experience in corporate strategy and development complements the board’s expertise.

Singh’s responsibilities will include leading the audit committee, expanding Axelera AI’s investor base globally and adding to the company’s footprint within the United States. He will also advise on corporate strategy, including financial strategy, corporate structure and development of the company’s investment portfolio.

Singh most recently served as chief financial officer of Arm for nearly four years, where he held full financial leadership of Arm’s global finance function including controllership, reporting, audit, taxation, treasury, FP&A, business partnering, strategy, corporate development, analytics, as well as its operations, procurement, IT and CISO teams.

Prior to Arm, Singh was Senior Vice President and CFO at Unisys, where he led all finance functions including controllership, treasury, taxes, investor relations, M&A and corporate strategy. Singh also held Executive leadership roles at SunTrust Bank, Comcast Corporation, Cisco Systems and AT&T/Lucent Technologies.

Singh holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. He also holds an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Singh serves on the Board of Directors of Affinity Federal Credit Union, and on the Boards of Directors of two NYSE-listed companies, Wiley and IonQ.
